Cecilia Testart Assistant Professor @ Georgia Tech

About me

I'm an Assistant Professor in the School of Cybersecurity and Privacy and the School of Computer Science at Georgia Tech. My research lies at the intersection of Internet measurements, security and policy. I use data-driven approaches and consider technical and policy challenges to improve Internet security and reliability. My goal is to make the Internet beneficial for our societies, given it is increasingly relevant to our everyday life and well-being.

I'm starting my own lab called Internet and Society and I'm also part of the Internet Intelligence Lab.

I got my PhD in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from MIT CSAIL in 2021, working with David D. Clark. I also have a dual master in Technology and Policy (TPP) and Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) from MIT. For my undergrad, I did a dual degree in Engineering between Universidad de Chile and École Centrale Paris.

RPKI Adoption

I have been tracking RPKI adoption since first publishing in 2020 about ROV adoption and impact. I've kept updating the data and graph over time. You can find it here.

Aditionally, with my student Deepak Gouda, we looked at Route Origin Authorization coverage of networks in the ARIN zone, which was shared by Steve Wallace from Internet2 in his ARIN 52 Keynote.
