This is a graduate-level Computer Networks class, focusing on how the Internet really work and with many applied labs/assignemnts. You can find the latest version of the syllabus for Spring 2025 here. I also taught this class in Spring 2024.
I designed a new class called SII: Securing the Internet Infrastructure. This is a seminar-style course focused on the efforts to secure the 4 decentralized systems at the core of the Internet (IP, DNS, BGP and TLS). Here is the syllabus for Fall 2024. I also taught this class in Spring and Fall 2023.
If you are a master student and would like to work with me, send me an email. If we find a topic of mutual interest, I'd be happy to advise you for a SCP/CS 8903 and then continue with a CS 6999 if needed.
