The BEES Lab is a computer security research group at Georgia TechGeorgia Tech's mascot is a yellow jacket wasp, which is similar in appearance to a bee :D, working on better empirically established security.
We take a data-driven approach to understanding how security and privacy concerns manifest in practice, and use the insights gained to drive improvements in real-world security. Our research studies how users, security operators, and attackers behave in various security and privacy sensitive contexts, often relying on techniques such as Internet-wide measurements, network traffic analysis, user studies and experiments, and large-scale data mining.
